Good Morning!
And welcome to another Finish it Friday, when i dip into the box of unloved and abandoned bits and bobs.
I actuallly collected another box full of said bits from work the other day, yes i have more than one box of crap-dont judge me! So i had a root last night, i was very excited, wanna see my desk?
Are you judging me again? I can feel it...
So this is what i chose.
I remember that little stamped piece, it was from a Aquatint class. The stamp set is available here, its rather nice.
I need some sort of background, maybe this one...
Or this one? how am i supposed to choose!
In the end I went for the crackly painty stencilly one...
Which one would you have used?
I think I might enter a couple of challenges with this, ill go and look for some and come back.
Thanks for popping in, hope you can come back soon.
That is a lovely finished piece. I remember that class I have a similar piece different colours. The trouble with us crafter's is that we can't part with anything. It is always going to be useful one day. X
ReplyDeleteLooks gorgeous, good choice ,you have great bits btw!
ReplyDeleteAnother fabulous piece Maria. I don't judge you for having boxes of "crap" - I'm just jealous that my box doesn't have as many beautiful bits of "crap" in as yours does. 😂😂😂 xxx
ReplyDeleteThat's a great finished piece now! I would have used that same background as it has purple tones in it. I really should delve into my box of scraps instead of just adding to it all the time!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your inspiration on Sunday! See you soon.

Why can't we Crafter's ever throw anything away? The finished card I'd lovely and that background works perfectly.
ReplyDeleteHugs from Chris X
Lovely card out of Bits. I have several bit boxes as well, but not as nice as that. The background is really nice. Xx
ReplyDeleteI love the way you have used what were 3 bits out of your bits & bobs box. The end result is great & no one would know it wasn't a planned project. Thanks for sharing x
ReplyDeleteThe only way I am judging you is comparing your beautiful pieces with my less lovely and inspired pieces. I think the background you chose is perfect. Off now to finish off some U FOx of my own which I will blog tomorrow. xxx Maggie (Silvercrafter)
ReplyDeleteI would have used that background too Maria. It has the same colour tones as the topper. Lovely finished piece.
ReplyDeleteLove this finished card Maria. For me, either background would have been perfect, but I do like your choice.
ReplyDeleteLoving your blog.
